You will then be required by your DMV to complete the large-scale car retailer application and submit it. Before you send the form, ensure that you double-check it just to be sure you have filled and signed all the necessary places. The applications usually take a long time to process, and any missing information can lengthen the approval time.

After filling the application form, you must purchase a car trader bond for you to proceed. This is mandatory in most states because the relationship acts as a surety bond. This is to protect the customers as they can file a claim against your bond on the off chance they feel that your business is shady. It is thus mandatory to acquire the bond.

After the purchase of the bond, it is now time to submit your large-scale car tradesman warrant application together with the vehicle dealer bond and proof of insurance. Make sure you also include all the other certificates that are needed and take them to your local Auto Dealer Licensing Service Department and then wait to be approved.
