By Nancy Parker

A handlebar is the steering control for motorcycles and bicycles. This is the main part to control where the vehicle will go and steer it into the right direction. Besides from being used for steering, it also supports the riders weight. Usually, it will depend upon the riders sitting position. This place provides a place for shift levers, bells and brake levers. They are attached on the stem and attaches to the fork. When it comes to softail handlebars, individuals can choose from the different varieties that companies are selling.

The clubman handle can be described as classically styled clip on and single piece. Even though they are not two pieces, it is pretty low set, aggressive look, and radiates a sporty look that will function as a means to reduce the wind resistance by making the driver lean forward.

It comes with at least two variations which are the zed bar and maynard. The zed has perpendicular angles and has a taller rise unlike the maynard and z bars. The maynard is a low rise bar and where the z bar angle is being replaced by a more like step angle which is perpendicular.

The frisco handlebar is likely similar to the zed handles in their overall rise and shape and even the design. The difference however, is that they do not possess an angular shape on the top of the inner rise. The bar is more rounded and softer curve along the horizontal and vertical sections of handle.

The breezer handlebar is very much similar with chumps in various proportions. The difference is they are more angular at the topmost in the inner rise. This type will drop in front of the driver at the inner rise. Chumps are softly curved and easy going while the breezer has a more aggressive and a bit more attitude looking to the vehicle.

Drag bars are straight and easy to be installed on motorcycles. This will allow using the stock wiring. It is composed of various drags from low, zero and high drag. The best ones are the high and low drag compared to the zero type.

Make sure that you will do some research before purchasing or installing your very own handlebar. Not all handles are perfectly suited for every bike. There are certain guidelines and methods when installing one style. Depending on your preference, the handle must be suited not only for proper riding but for a more stylish type.
